Procurements & Contracts

Ewing’s greatest strength is our complete knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) regarding Government procurement. We utilize this knowledge while working with Federal Government contracting to meet their important small business goals required by the US Congress . Ewing has successfully completed over 3,200 contracts, without issues, for all branches of the DoD and numerous Civilian agencies.

BPA / IDIQ CONTRACTS

Ewing has extensive experience developing and executing both Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) and Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type Federal Government contracts. Once in place, these types of contracts offer a fast and convenient turnaround for placing individual task orders. Ewing has several BPA and IDIQ contracts in both Department of Defense and Civilian Agencies.

A blanket purchase agreement (BPA) is a simplified acquisition method that Government agencies use to fill anticipated repetitive needs for supplies or services.

An indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) is a type of contract that provides for an indefinite quantity of supplies or services during a fixed period of time.

To help provide a level playing field for small businesses owned by socially and economically disadvantaged people or  small businesses owned by  service-disabled veterans, the government limits competition for certain contracts to businesses that participate in either the 8(a) Business Development program or are considered “Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business” (SDVOSB).
